Banquet

A conference banquet will be held on Thursday evening, October 1, in the Osanbashi Yokohama International Terminal. Boasting a history of more than 130 years as the "gateway to the sea" since the opening of the Port of Yokohama, Osanbashi has long been a symbol of the port in leading Japan's trade and transportation. Let’s enjoy the fantastic night view and atmosphere of the port of Yokohama, together.

Discover Kamakura’s must see highlights in one day, combining popular sights with a taste of traditional performing arts. Start at Kotoku-in Temple to see the Great Buddha, then Experience of Noh which has a 650-year-old theatrical art. A professional Noh master will reveal its charms, followed by a rare hands-on experience with authentic props. After lunch, enjoy free time along Komachi-dori street, where you can enjoy souvenir shopping and food hopping. The day concludes at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, one of Kamakura’s best-known sacred landmark, where the marvel at the grand Main Shrine.

Explore two sides of Yokohama—its craftsmanship and its food culture—in one easy-to-enjoy tour. Start at the Silk Museum to learn how silk supported the city’s history and to see the beauty of traditional Japanese textiles up close. Then visit the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, a retro-themed “ramen village,” where you can take part in a ramen-making experience. This tour combines local history, a hands-on activity, and a fun introduction to Japan’s ramen culture.

Enjoy a full day of scenic views and quiet cultural discovery, combining coastal Yokosuka with the classic beauty of a Japanese garden. Begin at Jorakuji Temple, a peaceful local temple known for its calm atmosphere and historic Buddhist statues. Next, take a Yokosuka naval port cruise to view the harbor from the water and learn about the area’s maritime background. The day concludes at Sankeien Garden, a spacious traditional landscape garden with seasonal scenery and historic architecture—an ideal place for a relaxed stroll.
